A panel of federal judges have set a hearing on July 25, 2013 to determine if all of the federal Lipitor lawsuits filed in federal court around the country should be consolidated into one federal Multidistrict litigation (MDL). The case will be argued in Portland, Maine. The manufacturer of Lipitor, Pfizer, has opposed the motion to consolidate. If approved, the Court will decide the venue to hear the cases also. Our Springfield Missouri lawyers will keep our clients and other updated on the status of the MDL.
