Mirena Attorneys – Recent News Report shows 70,000 complaints to FDA

According to a recent news report, more than 70,000 adverse events have been reported involving Mirena to the FDA. Mirena is a birth control IUD that is implanted in the uterus for up to five years. With concerns about these health problems, including those reported to the FDA, many lawsuits have been filed alleging that the manufacturer, Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals, failed to warn of known dangers.

 

Mirena lawsuits have been centralized in the Southern District of New York before the Hon. Cathy Siebel, United States District Court Judge. The cases are entitled In Re Mirena IUD Products Liability Litigation, MDL number 2434.  Cases are still filed in your local Federal court.
